Fill layer/ perspective question

Hey all,
I'm running into a little problem with the fill layer option and wanted to pick your brains. I'm putting a brick pattern onto a house background I'm working on. I know how to select the parts I need, create the pattern fill layer, scale the brick size, and all that. However, I'm needing to do one part of the house at an angle. I'm not able to change the direction or perspective of the bricks with the transform tool, but I have no idea why it wouldn't work. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks for any help

Update: Hey guys, I've heard of a way to "paint in perspective" where I would basically use the brick texture as a brush, which might work. I'm looking into that, but I can't believe it's so difficult to put down a pattern in perspective and still be able to scale it =P
