File won't print in Photoshop, but will in Illustrator

All of a sudden, when I press "Print" in Photoshop the document isn't sent to my Epson 3880 printer.
I am able to print the same doc in Illustrator. I've trashed my Epson driver and have re-installed, have quit Photoshop and re-opened. Any ideas?
 
Are you able to print a normal text doc? Perhaps your PS has defaulted to 'print to file'? that is my best idea. Whenever I've called tech support they always ask 'what has changed' Nothing I tell them...but often they're right, something has changed even if I'm not sure what. Please post, if you have a solution, it's alway helpful to hear what happened.
