Hi, hope anyone can help me out with this

I was working on a project the other day and saved it as a .psd-file (or so i thought). Unfortunatly i named the file "something 2.0" which was obviosly not the best idea I've ever had. Instead of recognizing the file as a psd-file (which it was saved as) my windows computer now recognizes the file as a .0 (type 0) file which photoshop refuses to open. The file size is 6,3 Mb so at least some of the data is there. My question is will I ever be able to open the file in photoshop, and if so how, or do I have to start all over again from scratch?

In advance, thanks for all help :)

I just did what you've done and just renaming the extension back to .psd solves the issue, if it's not opening up even after that than there's something wrong with the file itself and I doubt you can open it.
