I have a few basic questions related with drawing a simple logo.

I want to create image that contains:
1.basic filled curves
2.tree and flower- that looks like hand drawn
3.water that is splashing from sprinkler head.

I have drawn that in Paint (some of you might smile):

Other things (text) are no problem (thanks to number of tutorials on web) , but these basic shapes are..

I will be appreciative for any help.

It really depends on how you want to go abouts creating this logo and what kind of look your going for. Keep in mind that logo's are usually rather simple because there used often and resized, copied etc. Your concept seems cool but in my opinion it seems like alot (that's my opinion). I think it can work though. You said you want the image to look hand drawn. Your best bet for that would be to use the brush tool. I can't really tell you how to draw a tree or a flower, you really just have to draw it. I would suggest looking at a tree or flower while you do it. You find if you search the web, someone has created a flower brush or a tree brush. Then you could use it like a stamp. The filled curve can be created using the pen tool. The basic curve can be created with rounded rectangle tool. And the shower head is mostly a hand drawn thing. Let me know what else you want to know, also give me an idea of how you want this to come together, I'll be able to help you specifically.

Kevin

This kinda goes hand-in-hand with Kevin's response. I actually came across some flower brushes today. There are actually sets of "real" flowers as well as "fake" ones. I can't post links yet, lol... but we'll do it THIS way: Go to photoshopgoodies. No www at the beggining of that. That would end with dot com, backslash, brushes, dot html- lol...Good luck!
