Feedback on new template

[Tron]

I have been working on a new site template, not sure if I will use it or offer it for free when it is finished, would like a little feedback on it .

I will of course be dividing it up a bit, perhaps a section for a shoutbox or a news reader, and need to figure a way to incorpereate a site title.

And maybe add a little Flash to the header?
This is just preliminary.

The only thing is hurting my eyes, is the background. How about to make it solid black, and under, were is white text just leave it as it is .
