Faster way to remove BG of image than Lasso Tool?

I tried the eye dropper but it doesn't seem to get it right. The magnetic lasso struggles with the red/white if the edges of the shirt and makes it useless. Are there any other tricks with..stuff...and things? Or perhaps I'm better off changing some settings for the tools I'm attempting to use? I'm about to just buy a green sheet to lay everything on. But until then....

quick selection tool select the shirt then go to select inverse fill with whatever colour you like

Use the pen tool - much more accurate, cleaner, crisper and you have far more control over it.

here is how it looks using quick selection I guess it is all down to how accurate you want it at the end of the day

I agree with Adam, use the pen tool. It'll give you a higher quality then any other method but it's also the most time consuming.

@Boomawoom @Adam I am aware of pen tools and I typically do use the pen.

@Hoogleman What are some tips with using the quick selection? Scrolling over only the brown area, for me, did not come out any where near the precision of yours. I've tried this before but I don't understand any technique for making it useful.
