Fast help with blending please

Hi! I want to cut out my face and put it on lets say a mannequin and then blend them together so it looks good, how do I use the layer mask? Thanks

To create a new Layer Mask just select the layer you want to use and click on the Add Layer Mask button at the bottom part of the Layer Panel. When you paint with black brush the opacity is 0% (that part of the layer is hidden) and if you paint with white the opacity is 100%. So after you create mask, select black as foreground color and use it to paint parts you want to hide and if you make a mistake just select white color and correct it. I hope this helps!
