Hi,

I know I can use the eyedropper to select a color.

Is there a way to also use it to select a color from something on a webpage or from the Benjamin Moore color pallet?

ok do the easy option select eye dropper tool click the grey area outside of the document or anywhere on the image but keep your mouse button clicked and then hold down shift key and drag the eye dropper outside of photoshop over the desired colour on a webpage or any other colour on your desktop set the sampling to 3x3 or 5x5 pixels

That's great - a little awkward holding down the mouse, but it works.

How do I set the sampling to 3x3 or 5x5

thanks!

select eye dropper tool and right click on an image it will bring up all different options

Great - thanks for your help. I need to use Benjamin Moore paint colors and have their library loaded, but it's easier to use the eyedropper from their color swatches.

thanks again!

There is another easy way to select color from a website. What I do is print screen and simply paste into Photoshop.. The I take the eye drop tool and sample.
I'm really used to this method and it works fine for me :)
