I have two...plain blue eyes. My wife has two brown eyes. We thought to see what she looked like as a blue eyed girl. We got some chuckles from my results. I wanted to do a better job....so I googled and shopped....

I think you just wanted to change the brown eye color to a blue one. But why is your after image almost black now?

Blackout at his place....

I don't know what happened, I will sit down at my Tower of Power and figure things out,,,,,:banghead:

NOT what I have here ??

Just to add on what Paul suggested, here's my take on eye color....

The problem with using H&S on a layer copy of the pupil is that it tends to dull the pupil's blackness . This becomes most apparent when editing to a lighter color shade (from brown to blue) . And there's also the problem of lingering original color on the LIMBUS (the border of the cornea and the white of the eye).

That said, create your elliptical selection along the very outer edge of the limbus. And feather(5pxls in my example)/inverse/delete the edges of the eye copy to blend it into the eyeball. You may have to hit delete 2 or 3 times to blend it in just right.

Same goes with the pupil which is positioned above all the layers and lowered in opacity.

I've clicked out the pupil layer to see the dullness in color. Looks like an early stage of cataract... lol...

Here's my color adjustments. Yours may vary to your taste.

Hope this helps you out......
