Extracting Tatto Art Work

Hi there, I'm a complete newbie to Photoshop! I have CS5 Extended version. I was wondering if there was any possible way to extract tattoo art work from a Jpeg image, so that I can edit it with some of my own design, Straighten out the image, enlarge to scale so that I can print out a stencil??

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Mate i used to do the ink, and went down the road your looking at.
My advice leave it alone and draw it free hand onto paper marking out the size you require, do your carbon and lay it onto the skin - then redraw it out with new lines and curves FREESTYLE it mate, poly is a cool style.

you cant use the pen tool and just draw round it and fill it
