Extending YouTube channel frame

Good day everyone!
Unfortunately I could't find a solution for this problem all over the internet, so I have to ask it from the community.

I'm creating the channel design for my YouTube channel, and I want to make a small part coming out of the channel frame (that noisy gray frame on the channels where the view and subscriber count are shown), but I don't know how to create a similar effect. Additionally, is there a correct name for that section?

I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance!

Isn't that a question you should ask at youtube? Just sayin

You would probably gett better replies if you showed an example instead of people having to leave here and go to YouTube to see it

Although it's a hungarian channel, hope you can see what I meant: Untitled-1.jpg So the question is that how to extend that border like him?

Hi Rodolfo,

I won't disclose how it's done, but I removed the channel background template of the above mentioned YouTube channel so that you can see that this is the image/template that the designer created for the channel. He/she just created the tabs as part of the BG template design.

just make a background with what looks like a fitting tab, and make it the same color as the top youtube grey bar
use the pen tool to make the shape, then a drop shadow should do

Wow! Thank you for this explained help! I couldn't ever imagine this much help. But before anyone thinks something bad, I don't want to copy that background, I just want to extend it like him to add additional info.

But Sam, you're the best, thank you very much :)

Your welcome Rodolffo! I just don't think I was communicating well with you at first. Good luck and if you run into problems, don't hesitate to ask!
