Exif data not saving correctly

I have a TIFF file with different SUBJECT and TITLE data, when I save this as a Jpeg, the TITLE data appears in both fields TITLE & DATA fields.....Need to resolve this, thanks

i.e.

TIFF
TITLE London
SUBJECT Wedding

saved as JPEG
TITLE London
SUBJECT London
