Everytime I open an Image in PS5, images have lines going through them

Everything is running fine with the graphic cards and such. I'm stuck

If I zoom in, it goes away, if I zoom in more, it comes back.

i had a problem like this but i copied images from google into photoshop now i save as and drag and drop and im al fine hope this helps

I've tried both ways and it happens

does it still happen when you transform the image smaller or larger?!

No it doesn't
Only when I open it and when zoom in/out a few times

Hit f5....refresh screen....sounds like a scratch disk error or RAM related

If it's RAM,. how can it be resolved because I've had the RAM pop up stating I don't have enough come up? I have 3GB of RAM and I've already up my performance in CS5

I right clicked my computer and it shows 3GB of RAM, but when I went into Performance in CS5, it shows available RAM is 1.652GB
