Engrave text in metal help needed

1. I try to engrave text in metal but that Emboss only brings text up (out) of background. Didn't find normal tutorial which would look like i want. Mostly they don't look engrave.

Advice?

2. Got a "missunderstanding" with text on path. Coundn't get in right direction.
I got circle around which i want text. But by default it goes outside circle. If make full round around circle text at bottom is upside-down.
I need something like that but without transformation:

How to do that?

P.S. Is that understandable?

I understand what you want to say , you can try the inner shadow, just change the color and adjust the contour , it can be done very easily,just play with the contour

But i want whole text not just outline be engraved.
I'm not good with that.

Hooo..... House duties.....

For your second question... select text tool, select the text, Hold down the CTRL , hover you cursor over the text..... you'll notice there'll be an arrow next to cursor.

Click and drag the text into the path circle.... viola...



Adjust to taste.....

Yes, thanks, that what i needed, i'll give it a try with that tutor.

About path...i don't know...selecting, CTRL etc...it don't want to combine together. But will keep trying, at least i see it is posible :banghead:

P.S. i think i must "forget" about it for a few day and it will maybe come by itself

It will not combine, it's suppose to move the text into the circle....

Here is the psd file. The trick is to cut out the text and use layer styles on the cut out.
