End of the Road

Using part of a tutorial I came up with this. I say part cause the tutorial was an hour long and I don't have that kind of attention span today. So I changed a few things around and came up with this
end of the road.jpg

I would have made the doors edge and step as wide as the road is at that point of contact, i would laso have lowered the top of the door frame to line up with the fence giving total closure feel ergo 'end of the road'.
Maybe swept rain blowing across it also just to add a bit more depth and darkness to it all.

Those are both pretty cool you guys. That was a good suggestion Paul. Makes it a lot more eerie. It has a closer, almost claustrophobic feeling to it.

Nice job hershy. Did you intend an illusion in the fencing? Until I focus on it, the fence appears to be angling to the foreground on both sides. Maybe it's just me, lol.

Yeah i did notice that also clare, the mesh fencing does seem to be on an angle with the roads perspective, trick of the eye though mate.

LOL, strictly illusory. The road and the furrows, even the trees on the horizon are all angled, pushing my brain to think that the fence is too. The vertigo I'm experiencing is increased by the fact that the sky and ground of the pic are almost exactly the same size which in this image doesn't feel quite right. But like I said before, maybe it's just me!
