I'm not sure if I've posted this before, my memory doesn't serve me well, and I can't see it in my thread search so I shall begin! i know it appeared on my deviant art, but it wasn't finished. sooo yeah, it is now... kind of.
Okay the first photoshop Drawing I did was in November 2011(don't click if you've just eaten. no, seriously, dont) it was frankly, pretty poop looking back on it!
I think I did one more photoshop drawing after that, then gave up. they took too long and they never turned out right.
aanywho, I'm back with Revenge (you'll get that stupid pun if you know who she is)
I prefer to use female faces, rather than male faces, being female, It's just much easier to get the things looking right without the proportions being too off. I tried male faces at one point... disaster!
this time, it's one up on my first! well, frankly anything is XD
I think 2 and 1/2 years is a good time to go back and try something COMPLETELY out of my depth again!
result:
Technique; use a base color for the skin and dodge/burn the skin tones in(and the nose, funnily enough) downside is it causes the face to look a little flat.
hair was done using a three or four base colours, then using the smudge tool to blend them together, then I added a few strands and messy bits, just for the fun of it.
it took all in, about 12 hours, not long, but not short either!
thing I'm happiest about: The eyes, for once I've drawn eyes and they've actually shined moderately well!
thing I'm not happy about: The hair, she was sooo attacked by a rabid cat!
she also looks way to happy, she's meant to look like she wants to kill someone!
but comments, suggestions, the usual, much appreciated!
