name is gordo, doesn't take rocket science to work out what my real name is.

I am 50 something or other, disabled so a lot of my day is spent at home. taken up with running a couple of my own web sites one for my team Norwich city.

I am into football (watching now :sad::sad:) computers, music and reading in a big way. Favourite group at the minute, is an oldie but goodie Styx, author karen Rose, teaching myself photoshop not to become an expert but to get better than what I am.

married with 7 children (yep TV did break down a few times) who also take up a lot time :rolleyes:

what a nice warm welcome. an old fart. rather like that, not much difference my old mate and I called ourselves. The Travelling Scrotes.. (football away matches) poor old boy passed away two weeks ago, heck I miss the fun we had.


I look forward to picking up a little knowledge on PS, may take longer as grey matter about 10 yards behind the rest of me.

Yea absolutely loads, 10 years ago this August we would have been going to away matches and home ones too, Rock Music belting out of the car, and non stop taking the pee out of anyone but chiefly ourselves.

One memory was being stuck in the middle of about 5000 Liverpool supporters, taking a lot of good natured stick, we started to give some back..but it went over their heads. The first 30 mins I wouldn't have needed a laxative. :rolleyes:

And taking the wrong turn near newcastle and ending up travelling down some dam coast road, that went on for ages, we got so far down, got so fed up we then decided to carry on to an all night transport cafe the Norfolk side of Newmarket, had a dam great fired breakfast at 3.30am.

Heck I better shut up I would go on for ages. sorry
 
you wouldn't believe it I just get mysettled in here to read learn and ask, then the hard drive decided it wouldn't spin anymore. After a few arguments with the company I purchased the thing from over warranty I ended up buying a new drive and slowly putting everything back. In the end it cost a new drive and a new copy win 7, I had to use the restore thing of the OS once and seeing as I didn't ask them to do it I voided their warranty. TBH I got totally fed up and so stressed over it, plus had to go into hospital for some tests and treatment to settle angina down. So gave up fighting

I did manage to install ubuntu (linux) on an old tower and am learning that too. Finally back to normal so back to work
