I have an HP a1740n - Vista Home Premium - that has been running Elements 5.0 for almost 18 months with no problems at all.
Today it crashed. I can't load it, run it in any fashion, or get it to do anything.
When the start Icon is clicked a small status box pops up that says, "Attempt to access invalid address."
The top blue area of the box says Adobe Photoshop in the blue.
Steps I have taken to try and correct the problem:
1. Tried a warm boot - same message.
2. Tried a cold boot - same message.
3. Used the install disk to do a repair. Same message.
4. Completely uninstalled 5.0 and even deleted the folder it had been installed in after the uninstall - then did a fresh re-install. Same problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!!!
