Hi, again.

Is there an effect to put an image/logo, like an neon, but with the original colours, or something like that?

And an effect that, remove the logo colours to just stay the lines, like an "ink drawing"?

For the ink drawing effect, desaturate your image. Adjust the contrast to high -- you may not need this step for a simple drawing, especially a line drawing. Adjust the levels: bring the white point in to the left and the black point to the right. If your image is decent you should get a pretty good effect.

Here is a tutorial for extracting line art: Extract Lineart in 8 Simple Steps |

As for the logo, you might try using a hue/saturation adjustment.

If I have time, I'll make some examples and play iwth the neon idea. Some may have better ideas before I get back to you 'cause I'm just guessing.

Here's what I did. If it's anything like what you need, let me know and I'll explain:

Can you teach me to do that?

Sry, we're on such different time zones. I'll try. I can give you the basic steps, then it's a matter of trial and error if you've never done it before. But really, it's pretty simple steps. Mainly use adjustment layers.

1) original logo, no change
2) duplicate layer, adj>desturate
3) duplicate layer, adj. brightness/contrast: bring contrast up to highest (may vary or be unnecessary depending on the image in use). adj>levels: bring white & black point s (triangles on either end) towards each other till you get effect you want. I brought them basically together with the gamma point barely visible.
4) duplicate layers 3 & 4. Layer 3 above layer 4, apply mask to layer 4. Rather than trying to brush selections, use select tool for each area you want to hide then fill with white. You could do this other ways to get same effect.
5) duplicate original layer. Make selection; adj>hue/sat, then color balance. Probbly color balance would be enough. I just started with hue/sat. Play with sliders till you get the desired enon glow effect.
6) duplicate layer (on this example you can see in the green rectangle the result I achieved from just the hue/sat; it isn't as neon); select yellow are. Click foreground color, sample the yellow, move the chooser to the brightest area, upper right corner. Fill with this bright version of the color. Repeat for red.

OK, so that's it. For selcetions, I used the quick selection tool, but I had to contract it and move it slightly up since it selected part of black line. You can also used the polygonal lasso tool to alt/deselect and it does a nice clean job. I hope this helps.

Steve (admin) spoke to a request "how to make this effect" i think. He took color photos, applied the threshold layer adjustment, and used a bit of blur on them. Maybe you can use that... or tuck it under your thinking cap.
