I have Elements 10. Whenever I try to edit, brighten, enhance in any way animated GIF files with Photoshop, after I save the files again on my computer, the files no longer are animated, I.E they don't move no more. I save the files as GIFs. The files were originally saved to my computer right, they moved like they should. How can I edit animated GIF files and still have them be animated?

I would say, break the gif down to the single pictures of the gif, the enhance the pictures one by one, save each picture as an own jpg or png or whatever else file, and then create a new gif out of those pictures. The gif will stay the same since you just edited the same pictures, and you will have it enhances. You can create gifs out of your pictures on websites such as http://makeagif.com/ or http://picasion.com/

Or you can learn how to do it yourself in elements. This video will get you on your way to answering why you could not do it.

You are saving it as an animated GIF not a non animated GIF ? Because I had that issue. Once I turned on animations I breezed thru it.
