Sometimes you want to just do a quick edit on several photos, could be hundreds. You don't want to do a macro but open each one, edit the Levels, Contrast, maybe crop it.
I've noticed when you open a photo from the source folder, in Photoshop the layer has a Lock icon. You can do quick edits then just CTRL S and save it right back to the source folder, overwriting the original.
I've noticed if you unlock the layer, then pressing CTRL S prompts you to save it by default as a .PSD, and adds "copy" to the file name i.e 232434 copy.jpg. For some reason you can't crop, transform, add layers etc and be able to just quickly save it by CTRL S.
Any advice?>
