Is there an easy to to find the brush tip used when looking at a brush that uses dual brush. Is the tip embedded or will it be listed in the brush preset panel?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome.

Hope I'm understanding your question and can explain. Dual brush is a setting.

When you first open your "Brush Settings Panel" (WINDOW > BRUSH SETTINGS), you will see the first/primary brush that's being used under "Brush Tip Shape".

As soon as you select "Dual Brush", you will then see the second brush being used.

Reason would dictate that if you have a preset that has a dual brush setting, you should be able to click on "Brush Tip Shape" to identify (or change) the first/primary brush.

And yes, the preset will save (embed) both brushes used at the time the preset was created.

It is pretty confusing and i did find what I was looking for under brush tip shape. When looking for the tip i was searching in the brushes panel for the tip and not brush tip shape. I was looking at it as brush presets and tip shapes were the same thing. I did find the dual brush tip under the brush tip shape in the settings panel.

Thanks for the reply and the help.
