hi all.

Been doing art in Ps and Ai for a couple years, but now want to build a website in Dw. I started (blindly) making folders and files. I'm trying to set an image (.jpg) as the default background for all my pages. I created an index.html file in my main folder, opened it, clicked on page properties, and added the image as a background. But when I preview in a browser, there is no background.

Any thoughts? Hope I'm providing enough info, sorry such a noob.

Thanks,

You need to save that image in the HTML format in order to see as background of your webpage. It is very important for this. Information which you have provided it is enough but you must watch out some tutorials on youtube which may help out you.

if your a confident photoshop user then maybe invest in a plug in called site grinder makes your photoshop into html xhtml css and much more just google it

Thanks H.

Sitegrinder looks awesome! Not sure if I can afford it right now, but that would be something to consider.

I did a site in the demo mode not sure if they have limited it though since I did it but it was unrestricted for 2 weeks works really well as well

How can I save it as HTML? I don't see that option in Photoshop? Am I missing something?

Thanks
