'Dragon eye' experimental wallpaper (don't expect much)

I was experimenting with Photoshop and this is the outcome, in the beginning I didn't had an idea, it was just playing with gradient overlay but then I got a cool layer and it turned out to be something like a dragon eye

If anyone has a great idea for this, I can upload the psd file if you want

I like it, beautiful colours, very nice and soft transitions, even the structure of the eye looks perfect, I just miss something dominant, some highlight, like the center of an eye, pupil or something like that.

yeah, I was thinking about the pupil but it didn't work out

Exactly the same with me, I think it should be there but I cannot come up with any idea how it should look like. The only idea I had was black, very soft transition too and reflection of something, flames or something mysterious, but it is much much easier to say/write than to do.
