Just wondering if anyone had ever downloaded any fonts from 1001freefonts.com. there is one on there i really liked so i downloaded it, however, when i tried to install it, it said the file was damaged so I redownloaded it still saying so i downloaded some different fonts...same thing! any clue what its doing it for?

I downloaded and installed a few fonts from there just to test and they worked fine.

2 things:

1) Are you sure you downloaded the correct font for your OS? There are "Win" & "Mac" versions.

2) How did you install the fonts? Do it through the C:\Windows\Fonts folder to make sure there are no problems. Within the Fonts folder and under the File menu, choose "Install New Fonts...".

You know I really shouldn't let my frustration get the best of me. I had tried to install those fonts for only 15 or so minutes b4 i posted that question. About 30 minutes later i go back to it. Figured it out. I had to extract all the files because they were in a compressed file, once i did that i could install them. This may be the hard way to do it, but it works. Thanks for the help keeper, it's nice to know I can post a question and everyone here will jump to answer it, i feel like i can ask anything and no matter what you'll attempt an answer.....now how do i break up with my boyfriend ;) Maybe some day they'll be a question I can answer.....hmmm that'd have to be an easy one though!
