Don't judge a book by it's cover

If I would meet them in the street, I would never talk to them I guess. But the one with the yellow hair was at my son's bdayparty and was wearing a Levellers jacket, which made me start a conversation and he's an incredibly nice man.
The other one is a singer from a punk rock band and he looks quite wild, but he turned out very nice (as all the members of that band)
Does his face ring a bell to UK residents?
