Hello,

I'm relatively new to Photoshop so if you know how to do this, please explain by telling me where I click. E.g. File>Open

Does anyone know how I would achieve this exact effect in Photoshop? The 2 light blue type of effects, one at the top of the image, the one at the bottom of the image. It isn't just regular lighting, as it uses a totally different light blue color. I don't know how to achieve this effect, please show me if you know how.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. :)

If you have CS6 you can do even colour lighting.

Hey peta62,

So this effect can't be achieved with Photoshop CS5? I don't have CS6 at the moment.

Hey,

Thanks guys, for nothing. You're just hijacking this thread with total nonsense.

I asked for help on 'how' it is achieved, don't show me if you've achieved the effect with a screenshot of your own, English is lacking here on this forum.

And I never mentioned I needed to know how to achieve the channel 10 logo, just the background.

I thought this forum was going to be a help to me, sadly it appears it's a waste of time from the nonsense above, childish and immature.

Anyone care to help someone in need? I would appreciate it.

I agree, I've deleted the off topic posts but lighten up a bit, it was just a little humor.

There is nothing wrong with humor, but going off topic 'before' helping out a person isn't exactly the way to go. Either you reply and help them out, or you don't reply at all.

Oh, and posting an image and saying 'it can be done', doesn't help the person out either. "SHOW ME" how it can be done, please.

Or at least link me to a tutorial with a similar effect.

Welcome to the site, maybe toning down the attitude would help your cause mate?

This is what you need, just need to alter to your requirements, i.e. place circles into top right and bottom left corners of your rectangle shape, same out come though.

A thanks would be nice, maybe next time hey?

Hey there,

Thank you for the link, it's almost what I need, but I still can't figure out how to blend the 2 colors (white & aqua blue) to give it a light effect.

That's what I really need, that white light effect in the 2 corners, any idea how to do that?

But, thank you.

Re: Does anyone know how to achieve this in Photoshop? Any help is appreciated, thank

Hey again,

Ahh, now we're getting somewhere, on my way to achieving the effect, thanks for your help. :)

One last question, how would I 'set as soft light'?

Thanks.

Re: Does anyone know how to achieve this in Photoshop? Any help is appreciated, thank

Hey,

Thanks for your help, I just realized that doing this manually is a pain. It's actually possible to do this with 2 lights in Photoshop.

The only problem is, I can't get an 'oval' shape light, only round lights.

Is there a way to get oval lights (almost flat) like that in the logo I want to achieve?

Re: Does anyone know how to achieve this in Photoshop? Any help is appreciated, thank

I did tell you how to do that in an earlier post.
