We have a member here who does engraving work, i thought it would be nice if we tried our hands at engraving BUT in Photoshop format obviously.

Nice tut but it isn't realistic to what it actually looks like. Good exercise though. Thanks for posting it.

I'll be honest with you I don't like that technique.(colleague that looks cool)I can't get into it for some reason pretty cool I just don't like it to much of a pita to get right, tried three times and probably did something wrong along the way but when I did it, it came out like crap I am too embarrassed to show my results:banghead:

I have to agree iDad. I think the results are cool, but I think I'm just too impatient (or dumb) to try to figure out some of it. Newbie here I guess.

I did'n t make one before and I must say it took quit some time
because I had to make a line-drawing first ,( made a displacement map with 10 px in stead of 50 )
