Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone can help me with a DJ logo?
I have the concept drawn and scanned. Here it is:

If possible, I'd prefer it in a sort of light blue.
Thanks in advance :D

something tells me that he wont be coming back :bustagut:

Don't be so sure... I'm back alright... Don't think that I already haven't tried doing this myself. And if I succeed in doing so, I will be able to make more in the future. So there!! ;)

Well tell us where you're having a problem and lets see if we can help you out.

Basically what you see... is that the logo does not require the conventional font then render. It's made up of irregular patterns and shapes. I need help with the basic construction of the figure (the outline) and then some help rendering it into 3D or adding FX.
If someone could point me to the right direction, I am pretty confident that I would be able to do a descent job.
Doing this logo myself would bring quite an amount of self satisfaction.

So, you basically want a vector version of this image, in blue? Do you want it solid, or with all the little "Fuzzies", for lack of a better word?

I kinda like it. Tell you what, I'll play with it a bit. I have an idea.

Alright, here is what I came up with in like 8 minutes. Obviously it's not perfect as it was a quicky. (I have my logo on it as a watermark to keep people from taking it)

How do you think this is going to stop anyone from taking the logo? You need to cover the detail of the image with the watermark. not just put your logo in blank space. You also don't need to watermark your work on a free request.

Ok... Thanks anyways guys.
Guess I'll have to figure something else.

Would appreciate if an Admin close this thread.
