Distortion map question

Not that I know of, but if you distort/stretch the first image in Photoshop then maybe there is a way to apply the same effects to a second image.... just depends on what you are doing to it.

You could either record an action or copy over duplicate adjustment layers and layer effects.

Maybe the Transform tool might work for you depending on the image,
There are several different variations of the Transform tool.
Free Transform
Rotate
Skew
Distort Perspective
Warp and a few others

Go to Edit|Transform or Ctrl+T on a PC
Command+T on a Mac (I think)

This is very helpful. How can I record an action?
I didn't understand "copy over duplicate adjustment layers and layer effects"
could you pls explain?

Honestly I don't understand what you're trying to do.
Automatically, I don't see how.

You can make manual adjustments and save all the steps in an Action.
Basically you're recording what your doing, all your adjustments, saving them as an Action.
You can then run that Action on another image.

You can copy Adjustment Layers and Layer Affects from one image to another image was the second point Gaussian made.

Tell us how you are distorting the images.... if in fact you are doing that in Photoshop. Based on that I'll explain the best way to do it.

I think I understand.
I don't know of any way to do that automatically.

You're probably already using Liquefy and Transform.
Actions aren't going to help you, they play back the same adjustments every time.
For you every map is different.

Sorry

Very interesting. I'd be interested in seeing this process. Sorry can't suggest anything to help ya though.
