Hi

How can i disable the feather when i command Select > Border?

THanks

Since there is no option to select a border without anti-aliasing you need to save the selection and modify the channel created.

After you've selected your border choose Select, Save Selection, give it a name and click ok. Then go to the channels tab (next to Layers) and select the selection you've created. Then choose image, adjust, levels and drag the white triangle to the left until the edges of the mask are sharp and the anti-aliasing is removed.

Go back to Layers and choose Select, Load Selection and choose the selection you previously saved. No you have the selection without anti-aliasing.

Does this help?

This is *the* proof that "junior apprentice" only means that the person in question hasn't posted much up to now, and has nothing to do with the level of knowledge or experience in Photoshop.
Perfect answer, just perfect.

:righton: Great response, ElectricEye! :righton: And a big hearty WELCOME to the forum! :D
