Desktop wall paper..first go...


Thank you Inkz....

left a lot of space around the edges for desktop icons so the graphic in the middle is still visable with out having anything lay over it..Depending on howm many icons you have that is...
 
oh yeh... apart from some layer styles i made everything my self ( well with help of some tutorials on how do do things ) But made everything the way i wanted it to look and not the tutorials...
 
looks really good, you wouldnt think it was a first attempt, the graphic in the middle looks cool but i recon if you threw a nice texture over the background it'll be perfect!
 
Thanx guys... I put motion brurs behind it.. as the graphic is meant to represent radio, or sound box type thing , anything to do with music realy ... i thought of motion...

Should i ditch it and put a teture there ?..

Alright Inkpad, way to go. I like the one with the texture much better. The gradation on the first is uneven and bugs me. But it's a really cool icon/logo/stylized radio. And wallpaper.
 
Thank you ibclare... I'm a bit thick... What gradation do you refer to?. is it the motion blurs on the original ? or is it the first one of the other 3 i did? Please forgive my ignerance...
 
Not thick I don't think! It could just be my monitor. The way I see the BG on your first post is that it has a gradient and that gradient appears striped not smooth. But maybe it is not a gradient at all.
