Demon Train


Thanks everyone...

Ibclair... Don't get rid of your ticket... i get this train everyday to work.. we can have a glass of fire water on the way.

I was re looking at and thought... steam... it's missing steam.... The train has smoke, but i thought OK .. water... fire... that would produce steam. just ot quits sure if it would fit there some how unless it was just around the back end of the train rising up around the demon..

I'll give it a go and see whats it's like.. Probably won't be able to post it for a week... Been caught on the PC all day yesterday... so been put back in the cell for a week... my wife is now like a demon with steam coming out of her ears about me on it all day.. she put me back in the jacket and the cell for a week... BANNED form the PC for a week

Just sneaking in looks on PSG with the works lap top....

And that's the ex mother in law carrying a lamp to light the way for her!

Nice combo of images and you have managed to get a good color grading along with the contrast! Keep it up!

I'm quite surprise really.. when i finish it i didn't really like or rate it that much...just thought i would post it..

Some of the things I've done i thought we OK were all bad... just go's to show some times you can try to hard to get it right in stead of going slow and with how it feels.

You probably won't have come across me on DA. Only been there for 8 months. I am still only just getting use to doing manipulations.

The stuff i create is no where near as good as some on here , your self and DA. but one day i hope i will be.

I keep posting stuff on DA hoping to get help and comments.. but not really getting anywhere with it..

As you will see i'm still in the infant stages of digital art and manipulations and the stuff I've done isn't any good really..

I think people are just being kind and polite , i have high standards that i set for myself.. and hopefully one day i will get there.

Thank you for the link. I have taken a look in your gallery. And I think you are a bit hard to yourself.
I found good artwork. And its not what I say to please you. I mean it. I could comment all of them but I have to go back when I have more time.
I dont know for how long you have make artwork. I am not the right person to give criticism or to teach, but I can help you as much as I can if you want me to.

Anyway, you have some really good artwork in your gallery.
 
Thank you for your kind comments Cindy.. I have only been getting really in to Photoshop over the past 8 months attempting to do art and manipulations.

I take a look around DA sometimes and think.. " oh my god.. what am i doing here ".. there's so many professional or really good artist i think anyone coming across my gallery would be laughing to themselves.

Any help would be appreciated in any way... any one who can produce art such as yours is well equip to comment or teach...

That's why i don't make to many serious comments in posts in here related to helping some one as i know i'm not capable at this stage to give really good sound critique/advice ...i just like to be part of the community and give some input rather than none at all.

You have only doing this for 8 month!! And you already create such a good art. Its fantastic!
You dont have to feel like everyone is so much better then you at Deviantart. You must remember one thing.
We are many artists there, and we all are on different levels depend on how long we have been doing this.

All artists has been beginner once. And I think, and that is the most fantastic, that we never ever got fully-trained.
We will learn new things on the way all the time. So will I and so will you.

I also look around Deviantart at artists artwork and often I almost fell of my chair!!! I can not understand how good some of them are. But I also know that its all about interest and how much time you are willing to give it for training.

I have put so many hours, evenings, weekends to learn to paint hair for examples. But I still not have it in my hand.
Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

But the more we train the better we be. And dont be afraid to ask if there is something you wonder.
Some artist will not tell. They keep their knowledge for themselves and will not share with others.

But I love to help, so I always help when I can. Just so you know, you can always ask me. I am happy to help.

I hope you understand my bad english LOL

I'm saving some money at the moment so i can get a tablet... i really struggle with using the mouse when i want to actually paint something.. take shadows... sometimes i have to re do them over and over adjusting the brush flow etc .. where as with a tablet i would be able to use pen pressure. I just think with a tablet i will be able to progress further in the painting side of manipulations.

It takes me ages to do something with the mouse just to get the lighting i want ..or a stroke around an edge that should glow or try and make a models dress or shirt look dirty.

I have put so many hours, evenings, weekends to learn to paint hair for examples. But I still not have it in my hand.

I know what you mean about time,effort, training and passion etc.. I am never off my PC when i'm not at work, looking for tutorials, trying a tutorial, looking for resources, But mainly trying to find a good tutorial that isn't a speed art tutorial.. i just can't seem to follow them..

one thing i am beginning to learn is to take my time doing them, not to rush it.. take more care of what i'm doing...

Any way i'll stop pestering you now and again thank you so much... if i need to ask you something should it be through a personal message or should i put a post up asking a question ?... i don't want to seem like i would be asking to much of you or bothering you.. thank you
