delete noise !!

Deleting noise is easy.
Deleting noise while preserving important / real detail is what separates the men from the boys.
About the best u can hope for in a single algorithm is reducing some types of noise while minimizing the blurring of some types of detail. This is why I have several different NR algorithms on my system, all ready to be used.
Topaz Denoise is good, but so are Neat image, Noise Ninja, the NR in LR and ACR in the past couple of years, the median filter and the Dust And Scratches filters in PS, as well as many others ---- all in different ways / in different situations.
If a gun was held to my head and I had to pick one, I'd pick two: the one in The current version of ACR / LR, and Neat Image. These two will cover a lot, but not all situations.
