Dark corners in photos

I recently bought a new circular polarizer filter at Jessops to take it for my short holidays. When came back home I found that lots of my photos shot with that filter on have dark corners. Those with clear sky are easy to fix unfortunately lots of them have lots of details in the corners. There are so many of these photos that I'm wondering whether there is some easy fix for them or some plug-in that would allow me to fix them more efficiently. Some sort of reversed circular gradient could work well although I'm not sure how really circular are these corner shadows. Any suggestions? Thanks

An example picture would help us brainstorm.

Sorry for the late replay but I had some problems with my PC. Back to the topic it turns up it's called vignetting and it was caused by stacked filters on my camera lens. There is a filter in photoshop that helps reduce this problem.
