cutting out people with hair out of backgrounds

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good technique or tutorial where you can cut people especially ladies with blowing hair out of complex backgrounds cleanly?

depending on the complexity of the background vs hair colour I would usually reccomend channel selections or even using the calculations selection method. But usually fery hard to get right if they are against a white / grey / Black background then just use the blend if option in the layer blending mode bu sliding the sliders.

If you have a lot of this stype of work will not harm you to invest in products like onone perfect Mask or topaz remask they let you choose colour palletes to keep and colour pallettes to drop.
