i just dont understand how to use it on the site and how to set it up and what not.

Oh, also, if you go to http://cutephp.com/forum/ theres a problem forum. I don't know if this is the same cutenews script you have downloaded, as cutephp claims cutenews is their creation.

Iside the zip file you downloaded there is a readme.html file. It gives you all the instructions on how to set it up and include it on your site.

I set it up on my site in about 5 minutes, take a look

Bags make sure you go to cutenews website and get the latest version. The link you posted is to an older version.
