Is there a way in PS5 to chop up an image into squares via a grid and rearrange them? Other than making a bunch of little individual images?

Thanks.

Do you want to save as different images? If so, you can use the Slice tool (which is usually used for slicing up a website layout).

Its really easy, just need some time to do it. The time depends on the number of the parts that you want your picture to cut up to.

1. Load your picture into PS

2. Go to Slice Tool

3. Right click on your picture, then choose Divide Slice

4. Set the Horizontal and Vertical numbers as you like then press OK.example.jpg

5. Go to Slice Selection Tool (same place like the Slice Tool is)

6. Select one of the slices (ofc. you need to do the selections in order to get the result you want.)

7. Ctrl+C then CTRL+V will create a new layer only with the selected slice part in it. (The slice will be pasted into the middle, so you will need to move them to the spot you want them to be. Alternatively you can use SHIFT+CTRL+V to place the slice part back into its original place))

8. Now select the next slice part and repeat No. 6 till all slices are on different layers.

9. When you are done with all slices, you can delete the original picture if you like.
