Customizing psd templates

Hi, I'm trying to put together a website for the company I'm currently working for. We got an isp/domain host that provides us with various templates. I chose 1, then download it to my pc. I get a folder with the template in HTML, and another 1 with all the psd files for the template. The thing is, the template I chose, has a form on it, and everytime I edit it with ps and save it in html, the form appears to be an image instead of a html form and can't input any data on it at all... Any 1 know what I'm doing wrong? Wasted 5 hrs already :eek:
