Curvy Lines

Just a quick question , whats the best way to make those curvy line in these images (for the 1st images the curvy/wavy lines are in the middle and for the secound its right at the bottom) ? is the pen tool the best bet or using shapes ? i saw one tutorial in which one guy used shapes , but that kind of seemed to be rigid . Please advice me .

Looks pretty close to me. :)

I can't think of any better tool than the pen tool for the swooping curves. Just do each path separately and you can edit a little with the handles.
 
Layers Gautam, layers.

BG layer...

On a new layer, use your Pen Tool to create a path then a selection..

Fill the selection....

Then do it again with a new color on a new layer...

Si , thank you so much for joining in and yes ur right , i guess i will have to go with the pen tool .

@Iam Thanks you loads , ur tutorial helped me figure out how to make the 1st image , will try the secound one too .

i just saw this tutorial online and figured out to make those beautiful curves in a different way . Iam BTW , i have to work on a flyer soon , in which i will use ur technique :D :D :D

No.......I showed you how to do both images! In the second image you posted you just add more layers with different curves.

The tutorial you found is NOT different! It's the exact same thing I showed you only I did not explain the use of the Pen Tool, we have given you links to show you how to use the Pen Tool so I did not think it necessary to explain.

Hey Div and Iam , one random question to u'll .

Do you'll work on Jquery and can you recommend any good forums i can join . I know this http://forum.jquery.com/ is a really good forum . but any other one that u'll know of ?

though 90% of my work is PS , i do get some work in Jquery . I guess its a good thing to learn something u don't know .
