I am running Photoshop CS5 on a Imac OS 10.6.7
The cursor when using a hard edge of soft edge brush is not a perfect circle. It is somewhat jaggy and doesn't fill the circle when you click the mouse.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Using normal brush tip for Painting cursor in preferences.

If any ideas would appreciate the help
thank you,
Victor

It's how it appears on mine most especially if you zoom really up close at where you click it..... Though it's never been much of a problem for me.... Don't zoom too close in and it will be normal.

Are you sure it's not set to pencil rather than brush?

Also make sure you have the most current video driver installed.

Thank you Steve,
This is definitely the brush and the same thing for the eraser and clone tool. this is only a 50 pix brush. I have the latest update for apple 10.6.7 and if I use photoshop CS3 it looks and works perfect.
Do you think it is a Adobe issue or Apple?
Thanks

I was referring to the latest video driver for your graphics card not the most current OS update.

Steve I found the problem I created a new user on the mac and the new preferences are working fine.

thank you for the help!
