I have turned something on/off by accident.

Clicking on any tool (left or right click) displays the menu of selections for that tool.

It used to show the menu only

on right click.

I have searched the preferences and found nothing.

How do I get back to right click only. It is presently very annoying.

Try lowering the double click settings on your mouse.
