I installed CS5 into my drive but when it's initializing, the window that says the program has stopped working pops up and forces me to close it down. Anybody know what I can do? Thanks.

Have you tried again?
Windows or Mac?
if it aint working steve, it's windows :P

system specs may help too and be honest, we aren't here to skit, we are here to help
many a time have i managed to find out that someone had lower specs than stated

It is most likely not related to hardware issues because if it were then you would not have been able to even install it in the first place. (if talking CS5+) The problem is most likely related to leftovers from a previous installation. Like if you had a trial that had expired and now trying to solve the problem by just installing a new one.

Try using the adobe cleaner, it might just solve it for you.
