Quick question; How can I set PS workspace to fill the full screen of my laptop? At the moment when I launch PS it only fills to the size of the photograph I am working on. This is driving me mad. I want it to fill the whole screen and stay there.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Ian

Thanks for trying Chrisix but that doesn't do it.

If I open a photograph PS fixes it at the top, like your screenshot, but only has the workspace the same size as the photo. To make it fill the screen I have to drag the triangle in the bottom right corner. I want it to fill the screen as it loads the pic.

What Chris describes works in CS6 but I'm not sure about CS5.
Try this to see if CS5 has this option.

Try pressing just the F key to toggle through the screen modes.

Ok, progress of sorts.

If I go to view > screen mode the default seems set at Standard Screen Mode. How can I change it to start up on Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar?

if you don't see the blue lines, it means you're not dragging it to the right place to snap into possition
