First time using it and I hit a stumbling block 37 layers tiny tiny block
In CS5 they have what's called the Count tool, is there away to place the numbers over layers and keep them there as a separate layer to turn on and off,I know how to clear them no problem but I need to be able to turn them on and off at certain times, without having to start the count over again.Anyone I know what I mean?

No I haven't but what I did was take a screen shot of the numbered layers and added it as a separate layer so I could shut it off or turn on with low enough transparency to see when needed, I should have added that here, but post got lost in the latest numerous activities lately thanks for trying Yutosi

BTW how in the world do you say or pronounce YUTOSI? lol

With the count tool selected View, Show-Count will turn them on and off. Or just use the eyeball icon beside the count group drop down box, to will turn them on and off.
To the right of the eye icon there is a new group icon, so you can have multiple counts. Next to that is the trash can icon, to delete a count group.
When using multiple groups, clicking the eye icon, clear and delete applies to each group separately, not all at once.

perfect! That my friend is going to be used a lot here!...YouDaMan! Thanks Ralph!

Does anyone know if there's a way to record the individual 'count group' measurements along with the total count (which you can get through Analysis>Record Measurement).

Also, has anyone been able to tell if there's a way to save count groups so they don't have to be recreated for each new image opened?

Thanks for any help!
