to what extent does the advantage of having a pen on cs4 etc work .
the youtube tuts the guys mostly use pens .. just any taughts on this would be great guys .

if you r PRO on PS it might give you that extra approach you need. other than that ..... mouse.jpg

I'm not a pro. I have a fleet of mice, corded, wireless, trak balls too...That said I got a Wacom tablet with a pen, and my PS has changed much for the better. The control I now have has let me use the pen tool on a regular basis....Never would of happened without the tablet.
My masks are a lot tighter and I can get those small details thanks to the pressure side of the pen. I suspect if you can deal with the adjustment from "mouse thought" to pen use...you will want one.

I went to the large Create, wireless included for $200.00 shipped ....best tool I have added to the computer.

The pen is a much more natural tool for this sort of work. I tend to use both depending on what I am doing but I would say 85% of the work is done with the pen.
