CS3 - plugins not working??

Hi gurus.

Ive tried to add some basic plug ins - knoll, eye candy 4000 etc - dropped them in the plug ins folder per usual, but whenever I fire up photoshop I get the error message:

"One or more plug-ins are currently not available on your system. For details see Help > System Info."

When I go to system info, Photoshop crashes? I tried putting the plugins in a different folder and then directing photoshop to that folder (via the prefences menu) but got the same error messages.

anyone know any sort of solution?

I'm running CS3 on a mac with plenty of ram and space. outside of this error, photoshop runs just fine.

thanks for any help you can provide!!

You have to find out which plug-in is causing the problem. So start with one first, if there are no problems, then add another one and restart Photoshop.
After a few tries you should be able to find the troublemaker. Then I would advice you to remove that plug-in and install it with the setup program instead of copying it manually (if that's what you did). If that doesn't help then you should contact the manufacturer.

I?m having the same trouble here.
I can?t get any of my plugins working under PS CS3. I?m using Leopard 10.5.2 in a macbook and a macpro.
