Before I installed CS3 on my iMac I could view all photos in any folder (on mac drive or external) in icon view and the icon would be the image - letting me see at a glance which images were in the folder.
Since installing CS3, when I open a folder, only some random icons are images - the rest are PS logos in the CS3 font, or JPEG logos in the CS3 font. Which means to see what's in the folder I need to open every image.
I tried changing ownership of each image from PS back to Preview, but then only got a preview version of the PS or JPEG logo.
Adobe tech support finally told me to open Bridge, and the icons would return to being the images, but it hasn't worked.
Has anyone else encountered this?
