CS3 brush problems

Having some trouble with CS3. My brush will disappear (while using the clone stamp, eraser, etc.)...the crosshairs are still there, but no circle. Anyway to remedy this problem? I've tried getting out of the program completely and getting back in to no avail.

Help please!

When the CAPS LOCK is on the brush appears as a cross hair. Sure it's not that?

t's a know problem, one that is unlikely to be fixed until the final version.

Which is a shame, because It makes it hard as hell to use the paint brush, clone tool, heal tool and other tools.
