Hey All, have just upgraded from a Mac G5 to a MacPro and reinstalled CS3.
As I always have done, I use Slideshow to rate images with star values (to identify for different uses), but now some - but not all - files will no longer accept these ratings. I can manually create ratings by clicking on the appropriate button under the image thumbnail in Bridge (i.e. avoiding slideshow altogether) but these ratings are lost as soon as you navigate away from the folder and come back again.
I have tried to isolate which images this happens to (bit depth, if created CS2 or CS3, resolution, are there alpha channels, etc.) but there is no consistency and it seems to be entirely random. In addition, the option to use coloured labels has also disappeared (but I can live without this if the 1 to 5 star option within Slideshow will work as before)...
Any ideas? I'd be grateful for any feedback and help - this is driving me nuts!!
Thanks in advance -
Keith
